Overview
This is popularly renowned for its Himalayan landscapes and popular hill-stations. Many outdoor activities such as rock climbing, mountain biking, paragliding, ice-skating, trekking, rafting, and heli-skiing are popular tourist attractions in Himachal Pradesh.
Until the British reign, tourism in Himachal Pradesh was very limited to a few places around the hills and some spiritual destinations. The British developed hill stations during their reign one of them being Shimla which they called The Summer Capital of India.
The Shivalik range and mid- Himalayas are found here. The highest peak is Reo Purgyil with a height of 6,816m in Kinnaur. Furthermore, there some reservoirs and rivers in Himachal Pradesh which are tourist hotspots due to water port activities, sacred importance to Hindus, bird watching and have health centres around them. The four major rivers in the state are Ravi, Chenab, Sutlej and Beas. The Sutlej and Beas river valleys are home to hot springs such as Tattapani, Manikaran and Vashist.

Day 1
Arrival At Kasauli
Pick from your Arrival Railway Station / Airport & proceed to Kasauli.
Kasauli is a cantonment and town located in Solan district. This small hill station seems to live in time warp that belongs to the 19th century. The narrow roads of Kasauli slither up and down the hillside and offer some magnificent vistas.
Reach Kasauli in evening check in hotel & Dinner & overnight stay at hotel.
Day 2
Kasauli Sightseeing - Shimla
Post breakfast, check out from the hotel & get ready to explore Kasauli.
Its sightseeing includes Monkey Point, Sunset Point, Lower Mall, Upper Mall, Kasauli Club, Anglican Church.
After sightseeing drive to Shimla. Reach Shimla and check into the hotel.
Evening you can visit Mall Road at Leisure.
Day 3
Shimla – Kufri – Shimla Sightseeing
Post breakfast, proceed for an excursion to Kufri, a must-visit place.
Placed at an altitude of 2290 m above the sea level, Kufri is blessed with tranquility, scenery and is dotted with tourist attractions like Mahasu Peak, Chini Bunglow, Indira Tourist Park etc.
When back in Shimla, visit the Vice Regal Lodge- once the summer residence of various British viceroys, it boasts of an interesting English Renaissance architecture.
Thereafter in the evening, enjoy a leisure walk on the Mall Road. Delicious Dinner & Overnight stay at the hotel.
Day 4
Shimla - Departure
Today is the last day of the tour. Relish an early morning breakfast. Complete the check-out formalities.
Begin your drive back to your departure Railway Station / Airport for your onward journey.
